Winning the Lottery
I suppose one of these posts should be a short story or some work of fiction. But not today.
When the recent jackpot went into the billions, I pitched some money in for the pool at work. Everyone did. I don't make a habit of doing that, but also figured I didn't want to be the only one who didn't do it, and wind up being the only one still working there. :) Needless to say, we're all still working there.
I don't play the lottery often. Not sure why, I just don't. It's not that I never win anything, because I do. I'm actually fairly lucky with winning money. But only if I am feeling lucky. It's a sixth sense I have. Trust me, I don't feel lucky that often, but when I do, I gamble and usually win.
If I won the lottery, I'd pay off all of my bills first and foremost. Then I'd buy some land out in the country and I'd build a dog sanctuary and I'd rescue dogs. If I had any left over, I'd build a tiny home community. I love those tiny houses and think having a community of them around here would be a great asset to the area.
I definitely would find a way to spend it, and I'd try not to do it selfishly!

I have never entered a lottery!! I think it'd be awesome to win money though...aand, I'd probably be selfish?! But just in like setting myself (and my family. <3) up to live comfortably and stress-free for our lives...that would be AWESOME. hehe.
ReplyDeleteBut rescuing dogs would be amazing too!! I love that idea!
