Admitting Ignorance

Ignorance is bliss they say. I interpret this to mean that you can admit you don't have all the answers, or that you don't know the answer to a specific question. It sometimes takes a big person to admit that they don't know. I'd rather come right out and say "I don't know," than I would try to fake my way through something and make myself look like an ass.

I see absolutely no shame in admitting ignorance, admitting you don't know. Admitting ignorance about one thing does not mean you are ignorant of all things. I couldn't tell you the first thing about playing a violin, but I can tell you a thing or two about how to play the piano. :)
