There Are Two Kinds of People

I wrote a book about this. Sort of. I wrote about twins who were as different as night and day. One was the epitome of evil and the other was a good kid, but easily influenced by his overpowering, overbearing twin brother.

In the novel, Blood and Sympathy, I talk about good vs. evil. I talk about whether or not a person is born evil or they're made evil by their circumstances. Over the years, I've changed my opinion on this. I believed, at one time, that people were born as a blank slate and that how they lived, or were raised determined if they turned out good or evil.

Now, I believe that while it can certainly work both ways, I think it's far more likely that a person is born good or bad. I believe there's something to do with the wiring in the brain that makes a person commit horrible crimes... and I believe they're born with this.

I don't know that there are only two kinds of people though. That's pretty simplistic.
