Observing My Privilege

When I do these "assignments" if I draw a blank when I read the prompt, I type it into Google search and see what comes up. Now, this isn't really about observing my privilege... it's more about observation in general. However, I am observing my privilege by posting it. :)

How true is that statement? Society as a whole has forgotten how to just be. Sit and read a book or magazine while waiting in the doctor's office, or leave your phone in your purse at the restaurant while enjoying your dinner. I'm just as guilty as the next person. I'm constantly picking my phone up and thumbing through it to see what's going on. I don't even read physical books anymore. They're all on my Kindle.

So, there you have it, my twist on observing my privilege to change the topic up a little bit!
