The Neighbor You Don't Know

I moved into the house where I live now in May 2015, and I've met a few people -- and by met, I mean I've seen some of the same people while out walking my dog and we say hi, but that's about the extent of my relationship with the new neighbors. I'm okay with that. I'm a bit of a recluse at times, and keep to myself a lot. I'm not one to go out and meet the neighbors or go to community get-togethers. The name of this one should be, "I'm the neighbor nobody knows."

The cul-de-sac where I used to live was a lot more friendly and we did things together, but everyone had a big back yard there. :) I live in a townhouse now, and while we're all closer together, we're farther apart. If that makes sense.

This subject would be a good one for a short story. Like the movie Disturbia!
